Hazelnut crescent cookies dipped in chocolate
Ingredients
2 C all-purpose flour 1/2 Wheat germ (or almond flour) 1 C butter ( room temperature) 1/4 C granulated sugar 1 1/8 C water 1/2 C cocoa powder 1 Tsp. vanilla paste 1 C melted chocolate 1 C grated hazelnut Powder sugar Making: In a large mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar until combination becomes creamy Add Vanilla paste and water mix with very short pulse Add flour and grated hazelnut and cocoa powder Form the cookie texture dough Take walnut size pieces from the dough and shape about 2 inches crescents Place on the cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes in 325 F oven Cool the cookies on the rack Melt the chocolate and dunk each cookie half way and place on cookie sheet until chocolate re solidify Sprinkle powder sugar on the other half of the cookies!
