Christmas Spirit starts at Thanksgiving Table, Moms cook all day, bird gets roasted all afternoon, hungry children run around the dinner table impatiently, while the enchanting aroma of spicy apple cider drift through the house. is all about appreciating the hard work and good harvest of the past year, thanking God for the opportunity to be able to work; having good health to enjoy the bountiful meal that we could bring to our table as well as enjoying the sweet conversation after the dinner with the main subject being, “What about Christmas?”
As we part away from the 24 of November we start to relax at work, we feel like going out for more shopping, or making plans for the Holidays, instead carrying out our regular daily assignments!
Once the snowflakes start dropping here and there I know Christmas is on the way. I look up above to sky, open my arms and welcome the season of high spirit and a gratifying joy fills my heart. My tears mix up with the snowflakes lading on my face, The little girl that I keep quiet in my heart starts singing!
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace…
“Christmas is the season of the year focusing on Love and Giving; bringing that innocent child back to surface ,opening our hearts to every living thing, being aware of the sentimental values without judging eacother, instead of worrying about the best gif to buy, or making big plans.
“Give from the heart as she/he would, Hope like she/he dreams, Enjoy the simple pleasures like she /he does, and have Peace as she/he has always!”
When I think about Christmas memories; each one is very special in their own sweet heartwarming, joyous time and full of laughter moments yet it seems that they all pass too fast.
Let’s put our trees up to show our children everlasting hope of mankind, put the star on top of it to remind our children of God’s promise a savior for the world,
Place candy canes on the tree reminding them a candy cane is the shepherd’s crook which helps him to bring the lost sheep back to the flock. So candy cane represent that we are each other’s keeper.
Place a little candle on the dinner table, tell them it’s God’s light to lead them,
and put an angel on the tree, tell them angels are always watching us,.
Put a wreath on our door, even a simple one, tell them it is the nature of love. Real love never ends, real love is kind and real love is caring for one another. Give them small gifts that we made for them for the meaning of generosity and good will. Let’s teach our children the true meaning of Christmas, as Santa mentions himself also as a humble child of God!
When Love fills up the room we feel at Home, as time stops for a moment we appreciate having each other and enjoy “The moment!”
As I Honor Spirit of the Christmas I wish you all a very Merry Christmas hoping for all of us to keep the Christmas Spirit all around the year!
And A Happy New Year!
