Hello everyone,
Welcome to "cook2b"
I hope this site will help you to cook healthy and tasty dishes for your family, prepare delicious appetizing starters for your guests, or simply to have fun in the kitchen while adding variety to your recipe collection.
I started cooking when I was thirteen years old; my inspiration was my mother's little vegetable garden. She used to grow tomatoes, beans, eggplants, cucumbers, peppers and more during the summer months. It was always fun to watering our garden, taking care of the plants and watching them to grow. Finally picking the produce and turning them in to a meal was a great fun.
I was teaching at elementary school years ago, surely I enjoyed a lot with that awarding occupation. Sharing kids' honest world and most importantly learning wisdom from their innocence enriched my inner peace ever since.
It also helped me to learn how kids can be creative when it comes to eating and if we go with their intuition, feeding them may convert to a fun time rather than challenge at the dinner table.
Later, I moved on my studying and became a Biologist. During my medical research years, I learned how to be self-motivated, creative, devoted, patient and always being hopeful from this very volatile, uncertain but rewarding occupation.
In the mean time cooking happened to be a relaxing hobby for me over the years.
I am not teaching or doing research any more. I create new recipes, modifying existing ones for the people who are willing to cook healthier recipes in my new phase of life.
Cooking a healthy meal and keeping the original taste of the known recipes may seem like a challenge. But if you use the right ingredient in a right amount, you would be very surprise with the result. It is definitely worth to try.
In addition, learning about Authentic Asian Cuisine and Indian food helped me having a new vision in the kitchen, in terms of using the variety of herbs and spices to enhance the taste of my cooking.
My best advice about cooking would be "just give yourself a chance, have no worries in the kitchen, use your common sense and enjoy cooking"
I will be adding recipes as I am coming up with new ideas and modifying the ones we already have in our recipe collection, give it a try, enjoy the recipes and please share your thoughts with me.
