Winter Salad
Ingredients
4 midsize carrots cleaned and peeled 1/2 small red cabbage 1 small radish Misato A few Romano lettuce leaves 1/2 C dried cranberry 1 pear thinly sliced 1/2 C halved pecans If your have in hand 1/2 C pomegranate For the dressing: 1/2 C olive oil 1 tsp. mustard 1 lemon juice Salt 1 tsp black pepper 1tsp. chili pepper 1 Tbsp. honey 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar Making: What I really like making winter salad, slicing carrots and cabbage with a peeler. So, in a big salad bowl, peel Carrots, cabbage and radish (vegetables) by peeling Slice pear very thinly Chop lettuce also thinly Mix all vegetables gently by tossing them Top with pecans, pear slices and pomegranate In a small jar mix all dressing ingredients and mix by gently shaking.
