You appear in my tray almost every day. Look very appealing; even I want to push you away! You guys appear friendly in your pod brings me peace. I start counting 1 little, 2 little, 3 little green peas… Indeed all goes in through my lips. I don’t know what vitamin C, B3 (niacin), iron zinc and beta-carotene means! But Mommy tells me I will be very smart and strong, If I eat tender, crisp, and juicy seeds. Today I couldn’t see you in my tray individually Instead I saw you in my bowl altogether happily. Preparing: 15 minutes Cooking time: 25 minutes Ingredients: 2 lbs. frozen green peas (may be used 2 lbs. fresh peas) 2 middle size carrot (peeled and chopped in small cubes) 2 potatoes (peeled and chopped in small cubes) 1/2 Lb. beef ground round 1 middle size onion (chopped in small cubes) 2 midsize tomatoes (also peeled and chopped in to small cubes) 2 Tbsps. olive oil 1 small green chili pepper (if desired) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. cumin 1 tsp. black pepper 1tsp. agave (or honey) Preparing: Heat the oil in the casserole dish,Sauté onion until they become translucent Add ground round and continue sautéing, by adding turmeric, salt, honey, cumin, small chili pepper (if desired) and black pepper. Add potatoes, tomatoes sauté few more minutes. Add frozen peas directly in to the meat mixture Add 1/4 Cup water Simmer for 20 minutes.
