Summer Salads
Broccoli Salad 1 head of broccoli 10 cherry tomatoes 1/2 C Fresh Parmesan Cheese (shredded) Brussels Sprouts Salad 2 Lb Brussels Sprout 1/2 C green or black olive (pitted) 1/2 C feta Cheese (crumbled) 1/2 C walnut (crumbled) Salad dressing: 1/2 C Olive Oil 1/2 C Lemon Juice (1 and a ½ lemon) 1 Tbsp. Mustard 1 tsp. freshly grounded black pepper 1 tsp. grounded chili pepper 1 tsp. Himalayan salt 1/4 C Minced parsley 1/2 tsp. minced garlic Mix well altogether Making: Boil or steam cook broccoli or Brussels sprouts no more than 5 min. Making salad is really easy almost everybody can manage to fix a bowl of salad of any kind. What makes the salad unique and tasty is to use the ingredients to go together. And really important point for making a healthy salad is to clean (especially) green vegetables and thin skin vegetables. Vegetable cleaning solution: 4 C water 1 Tbsp. Baking soda 1/4 C white vinegar or (1/4 C Lemon juice) Mix well these ingredients and sink the vegetables in the solution and keep green leaf vegetables (without rubbing into another) in this solution for 5 minutes and other vegetables for 10 minutes.
