Quinoa White Rice Pilaf with Orzo
Quinoa Rice pilaf is easy to make usually used as a side dish while you get the excellent benefits from Quinoa you also don’t miss the taste of rice.
Ingredients: 1/2 C Quinoa 1/2 C white rice 1 Tbsp Butter 1 Tbsp olive oil 2 Tbsps. Orzo 2 C water 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. Making: Combine rice and quinoa in the bowls rinse thru strainer until clear water goes thru rice Set aside. Melt the butter and add olive oil on medium heat Add orzo Sauté orzo until it browns Add salt and pepper Add water and bring it to boiling point Bring the heat down to minimum Simmer the pilaf for 20 minutes.
