Pasta in Tomato–Shrimp Sauce

Picture

It has been a long time that I haven’t cook pasta. Today I was reorganizing my food cabinet and I came cross two half used box of  tube pasta. Than I started organizing my freezer, I saw a small box of frozen shrimp. While I was closing the refrigerator I saw some left over white wine at the door.  At that point I remembered that I had  little box of heavy cream that I bought a few days ago.

I put all those together and added tomato and some herbs, maybe few calamite olives, garlic, Parmesan. Here comes Pasta with shrimp. My final product was so delicious.

Please remember, my main purpose was “to clean” my kitchen cabinets and refrigerator. So sometime you can be creative and just use what you have at home to make a very tasty meal.  Also when you see the new recipe do not run to the grocery store before checking your refrigerator.
