Pan Seared Salmon Marinated in Herbs Enhanced Teriyaki Sauce

Picture
I prefer to cook fish pan fried or baked, Besides we enjoy this simple cooking think this way we get nutrition from the fish without extra calories or fat.

Therefore I often try to marinate the fish in variety of sauce.

This time it is basically a Teriyaki sauce but I omit the soy sauce instead I added few fresh herbs and green onion in the marinating mixture.

Here is the recipe for 2:

Ingredients:
2 lb. Salmon fillet (2 pieces)

Marinating sauce:
2 Tbsp. Rice Vinegar

1 Tbsp. brown sugar

1 Tbsp. fresh minced ginger

1 Tbsp. Fresh Rosemary

1 Tbsp. Fresh minced Mint

1 Tbsp. dried Thyme

1 Tbsp. olive oil

1 Tbsp. Lemon juice

2 Tbsp. very thinly chopped green onion

Bring all these ingredients into a bowl

Wash salmon well and pad dry

Marinate the salmons spreading the marinating mixture for 20 min. in the fridge.

Pan sear salmon on medium heat in the flat iron casted pan 7 minutes each side.

(You can always grill the salmon if desired instead of pan searing)

Serve immediately with desired side dishes.
