Garam Masala Yogurt Marinated Chicken Wing Drumsticks
This is a very simple recipe with yogurt and garam masala marinating mix. It has an Indian Cuisine based flavor, very easy to make and banana pepper goes really well with combination.
Ingredients: 8 Chicken wing drumsticks (washed well and skin peeled off) 2 C steamed white rice 1 Onion (diced) 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil 2 sweet Banana peppers (washed and cut in circles) 1/4 C white wine 1/4 Tbsp. turmeric (freshly grinded) Marinate: 2 C plain yogurt 1 Tbsp. olive oil 1 tsp. salt 1 clove of garlic (minced) 1 Tbsp. Masala mix Preparation of Masala mix 1 tsp. coriander 1 tsp. cumin seeds 1 tsp. black mustard seed 1 tsp. crashed red chili pepper 1 single cardamom 1/2 bay leave 1/4 inch cinnamon bark 1/4 fennel seed 2 cloves 1 stone flower 1tsp. poppy seed Sauté all these ingredients (no oil) in a nonstick pan for 2 minutes (or until you feel the aroma) Let it cool down Grind them in a coffee grinder for 2 minutes. Making: Prepare the masala mix set a side Whip the yogurt slightly in a bowl Add olive oil Add, garlic, salt, grinded masala mix. Mix it well and add all drumsticks in marinate. Let is sit in the fridge of 30 min. (You can always prepare this part from the morning and it will be ready to use when you want to complete the dinner) ************* Sauté diced onion in 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil until translucent. Add pepper circles and sauté few more minutes. Add wine and simmer until wine evaporates. Add turmeric stir. Add drumsticks with all marinate. Simmer for 30 minutes.
