dandelion Treat- (two ways of cooking Dandelion)

Alteration of Cooking Dandelion
Dandelion is known as an annoying weed that we don’t want to see in our garden. They are invasive and grow very easily but it is also very beneficial food and used as an herbal medicine.
Dandelion is rich with beta carotene, vitamin C, D, iron, calcium, potassium, zinc. It is beneficial for liver health, digestion track, kidney and heartburn.  
Ingredients:
With mushroom:
One bunch dandelion
1 can button mushroom
0ne midsize onion
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 parmesan cheese
With chickpeas:
One bunch dandelion
One midsize onion
One tomato
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 garlic cloves(minced)
1/2 Tsp. pepper paste
Making:
Rinse the dandelions very well and chop in big pieces.
Rinse the chickpeas and peel the chickpeas, set aside.
Dice the onion, heat the oil in a shallow pan, sauté the dandelion, add the garlic and pepper paste, sauté few minutes more.
Add chopped tomato mix everything together.
Add salt and pepper
Add 1/4 C water.
Simmer for 20 min.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
If you cook with mushroom only, omit tomato and chickpeas.
