Cranberry Chutney
There are many ways of making this indispensable dish during every holiday season. This time I tried with maple syrup,balsamic vinegar and zest of orange.
Ingredients: 1 Package (12 Oz) cranberry -about 3 cups 3/4 C maple syrup 1/3 C chopped pecans 1/2 Tbsp. orange rind 1 orange juice 1 1/2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar Making: Bring rinsed cranberries and maple syrup in a sauce pan and start cooking on medium heat. Cranberries should start popping up with in few minutes. Cook it about 5 minutes Do not cook over it gets too dry too fast. Let it cool down, add pecans, orange rinds, balsamic vinegar and orange juice mix well and transfer into a serving dish. 12/27/2021 Back to salads, soups and starters page |
